Laptop for a teenager

I tend to agree, however having three daughters myself, I can say that the laptop's shape, size, and colour are equally important...

I originally offered a reasonable Toshiba SatPro U400 that is kicking around the house - but nose turned up....

Dell Chromebook 11 was developed for the education market, and they're tough little cookies, possibly my favourite Chromebook and I've had most. After the dust clears there will be ants, alligators and Dell Chromebook 11s left to fight it out.

If you need a bigger screen and you mentioned 13-14 inches, then the HP Chromebook 14 is a real peach. Great screen, but it find it a touch to big to carry around these days, because the 11-13 inch Chromebooks get you used to ultra portable devices quickly.

I would be amazed if your daughter needs to do anything that a Chromebook can't do.

I have a Samsung chrome book and it's brilliant its downfall for teenagers is it can't run the windows programs they get sent home with for maths, science and IT homework
