Latest comand dvd disk for w211 320 cdi 55 plate?

Yikes !!! I've looked at previous threads and have to admit to being confused as to what is te latest edition now. My local dealer says v8.0 part no B 6782 3743 is the latest for my vehicle. However, other info I have received seems to suggest this part no does not fit the w211 and that v 6.3 is the latest. Can anybody help please as I am looking for a disk for my vehicle which has the m6 toll area on it (which apparently v8.0 does). Can anybody help please?

A friend of mine has a 2004 W211 E320 and we tried my V8 DVD in it and it didnt work
