Been reading a few posts about this, havn't done a fully fledged search on the subject yet, but i know a few of you have done this switch over, so was looking for some quick and easy answers and thoughts.
I have a C350 Coupe (2005) Bi-Xenons as standard, and, as you know the sidelights are still the old style yellowish light bulbs, don't like those they look wrong !
Now i know that a cheap bulb is likely to trigger the bulb failure warning system, and i know resisters are available to combat this, either in simple plug and play in-line leads or ones that require modifying the wiring, i also know that one large resister heats up, and have read some posts warning of this, and i know some of you have tried certain types of bulbs and removed them because they heat up.
I've been noticing different styles of bulbs, ranging from top mounted LED's to side or all round multi layers.
What i did find during a quick wander around were these, and was wondering if any of you had any experience with these particular ones ? they seem to utilise a series of smaller resistors, possibly to reduce heat build up ?
ERROR FREE CANBUS LED BULBS
the 2 i was looking at were these ones,
i'm thinking that the second ones might be the style i'm looking for rather than the forward projecting desgn
