LED Sidelights

Trouble with fitting LED bulbs as fog lights are ........they may look good but will be carp when needed to see..

Pity though...
Yeah, that's why i would consider LED's for non-driving lights as i said, but HID's or similar for the lights you drive by, i have to admit that i was stubourn about the options i wanted on the car i was buying, and bi-xenons was a must, and i am so glad i did hold out for one with them.... so much better than anything i've had in the past

Tried to fit lights in CLS yesterday .. much too fiddly, had to give up

^how come?

difficult to get at
You should see my old mans 56 plate Citroen C5  even the dealers / independents have weird little tools they have made up to get in there, i sure as h3ll can'ty even replace the side light bulbs ! - first time it needs bulbs though, it'll probably be getting LED's - purely so he don't have to worry about it again with any luck !

I remember reading if you have a fiesta ST then its the front bumper comes off to get to the light....

hmmmm, someone will probably know a trick or two, i'd have a trawl through the users and see who has the same car, and then hit up their pm ... or start a new thread, one of them will eventually come across it :)

I too have the ones from killerhertz and they are great and finish the car off a treat, big thanks to him.

As do we and they look / work great:bannana:

Note for others, if like me you leave the lights on while changing the bulb, it will show up as a fault the once. Initially I was thinking that my electrical curse had struck again, then realised what I had done.

I got my LED sidelights from AutoLedShop and fitted them in less than 2 minutes, they compliment my xenons a treat.

I got my body shop to do mine Sean. I had the same problem, they have the knack.

Was access the main problem? I could only just get my hand into the gap on the drivers side W211 headlight. - cold weather doesnt help either!

access yes .. also not having a clue what I am doing.

DIY is not a strong point for me

All sorted, fitted the ones from Killerhertz :thumb:

excellent, and look realy good, little fiddly to get to the fittings on mine, but that could be my hands were just too big to fit in the access hole :o

Pictures of them are in my gallery here... http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/members/350_coupe-albums-my-c350-se-coupe.html

Also you'll see one of the main beam on, taken from above so as not to kill the picture with glare.... hmmmm, yellowish, might have to do some thing about that lol !

Yet another "ditto" from me........

Fitted mine a few weeks back and they look brilliant with no canbus failure showing.

Good work Karl :thumb:
