Always good to hear from another CLK owner.

Haven’t done a great deal compared to other modders on here, but main things are:
Carbon splitter
Carbon diffuser
Renntech carbon engine intakes
Black series carbon boot spoiler
Custom exhaust
Black series steering wheel
Carbon paddle extenders
BC forged wheels

Happy with how it is, so no plans for anything else.

Was there anything specific you did to the underside (apart from the defuser) Mine's a 2005 and I think that they sorted the rust issues by this point, just wondering if there's anything else I could do as well.

Also, did you have a ceramic layer applied? it looks very shiny.

I haven’t done any additional work or protection underneath.
Rust isn’t so much an issue as it was for the 1st gen CLK.
The period around 1997-2003 was a bad time for merc. Corner cutting, build quality and rust etc.

Bear in kind that I also don’t drive in rain or winter, so my car theoretically should fair better than a car that’s used “normally” or daily.

No ceramic coatings.
Just a few dollops of ocd and many layers of wax
