Hi, Nice forum by the way.
I need help with my Linguatronic system. I just got me an Mercedes 220CDI from 2000 with integrated telephone and Linguatronic. The problem is that the lady only speeks german. How do I change the language I have managed to change the display from german to english.

As far as I know, the unit itself has to be replaced as they come in different language versions.

Your typing error appealed to my sense of humour. We do still have Royal Marine Commando's, but I know what you mean.

There is an excellent person that sometimes frequents this forum with the user name 'Oslo'. He is Norwegian, speaks better English than most of us and is fluent in German, plus his car has Linguatronic!

Hi there!

I do have some knowledge regarding the 211's, but I'm unsure when it comes to older models. On the 211's, you will need to state which language module you like when ordering the car. But that is only for the input. The output is user selectable for several languages. One funny thing: All the outputs comes from a female, regardless of which language you choose. But if you decide to use Turkish, there is a male voice. I have been told that the muslims will not accept commands from a female! Somewhere in this forum, I wrote the complete list of commands. Do a search.

Thanks for the input, My wife won't accept commands from me, but I don't think it's a religous thing?

I can definitely recall the very long list of commands that you typed, I'll see if I can find it.
