Hi Guys, what was the approx list price of a '95 E320 Coupe sportline?

I have one, and have the MB signature receipt from 1998 with a sale price of £28.5k

Seems steep to me?

Im working in Denmark at the moment and my Merc is with me...where belive it or not, it would cost over £20k to buy a Danish registered one because of the lifelong car tax system here!

Please tell us more about that tax system .

Price strikes me as about right , or even cheap !

i dont know too much about it, i have seen a couple of e320 ads with prices ranging from 200,000 to 260,000 dkk.....

i know a ex pat over here recently bought a 2000 bmw 320i four door for the equivalent of £20k

there is a 180% tax on new cars, with a load of other taxes involved such as weight tax.

here an A124 for 23.5k

£9000 for this 1990 230e...

and it will cost you 600 quid a year just for the green tax, god knows what other tax's you have to pay on top

its daft, and you cant simply import a cheap LHD merc, register it in Denmark and sell at a profit, you have to pay so much tax to register it you would have to punt a 500 quid 190e at 8k....
