Help!!!!!

What are users opinions of locking dust caps, I'm getting sick of replacing alloy caps 'cause some toe rag has knicked them.

Up till now I have held off with the locking variety for fear that the little angels will do more damage to the valve, therefore causing more expense in the long run.

Any thoughts, experiences

Thanks

Mike

I use regular black plastic caps. Have given up with anything else.

I bought some for the Mini. So far the caps on the Merc havent been touched. Although identical in appearance to those on the Mini. I dont suspect the shiny AMG ones will last long when the new wheels go on though. Still not sure whether to put them on or just use the old ones.

Providing you keep a small amout of lube so they dont sieze on I think they are fine.

I dont really think there is an issue of people doing more damage because you have them, unless you are in a proper 'scally' area where you are probably at more risk of having the car 'keyed' anyway.
