Hello everyone

ive been away for a while

my s124 is going through a bit of a make over, found a donor car and taking all the bits i need off it

the donor car has 8 hole 15 inch alloys but they are a bit tatty

can anyone suggest a good reliable alloy refurb guy near me in se9

might even get my 15 hole ones done at the same time

is there a specific colour/shade of silver they should be sprayed

thanks :thumb:

Gillingham is not that far from SE9 - Lepsons have a superb reputation, I've seen some of their work and it was fantastic.

I live in SE10 and I took my car to MB Maidstone for a wheel refurb. It turns out they actually use Lepsons themselves where it is not just a smart repair. I got a quote from Lepsons and the margin MB add is not that big (£10-12 per wheel) and instead of paying a 'car storage fee' I got a courtesy car, plus they valet the car afterwards. Don't know if this would be a similar story for other dealers closer to home, and you may have the facility (which I don't) to store a car with no wheels for a few days!

Lepsons - I used them recently on my drag wheels as a test. Perfect job ahead of schedule, will be putting my road wheels in next.

Lepsons do Nick Froome's W124 wheels - recommendation enough.

there's a decent place i use, they are a bit further up but well worth the travel for alloy wheel refurbishment

As many have said:

I have used them too.

They did a great job of refurbishing some Toyota Rav4 alloys, and I had the car for 4 years afterwards and the oven baked paint job they did was still A1. Can't argue with that?

They are a couple of minutes walk from a main line rail station, and I see they now do a Loan car. All very useful if you are simply handing them the car as I did, rather than delivering the wheels?
