Loose Centre Armrest - W211..

Hi can anyone advise? I bought a used W211, and on close inspection it had a slightly loose armrest lid. Not only that, but i also need to replace the piece of maple wood that covers where the cupholder is.

Is it possible to tighten up the armrest without having to buy another lid!
