Having just moved house, I cannot find some documents relatiing to my car, including my service log - D'oh!

In the event of it not turning up, is there an official route to replacing it and having it stamped? All services to date have been carried out by no more than 2 or 3 main dealers, but in different parts of the country.

Thanks in hope (or desperation!)

If it's been serviced at main dealers then I'm pretty sure they can pull a printout off their systems that will confirm that it had been serviced no matter which one it was done at.

Usually you can by a new service log book, not too sure if you'd get it stamped up again though unless you went back to the dealer who originally sserviced it. But for proof of servicing whether for warranty or future sale the print off should be sufficient.

My service manual "got lost" at the last motorplan service (120000km), and the car had been serviced by at least 3 different dealerships. After a few panic attacks, I went back to my dealership (who "lost" the service manual), they just pulled all the info off their system and put it all in a new service book.

They forgot to add the previous owner's name, so according to my documentation, I'm the first owner. :D
