Need urgent help! I am unable to see service history of my car and think I am getting ripped by MB.

You joking I think sorry for laughing
Did long journey with my car ( 90k at the moment )
😂
My car was serviced for 5 times at MB service every time
Interesting
Also, if the Hnerty's car is a 2019 W213 E220d, as mentioned in his other posts, then the air filter and the fuel filter would both be due their first-time replacement this year, in 2023. They would therefore be the original factory-fitted filters. The cabin filter would have been changed once, in 2021, and will be due again this year, in 2023. The oil filter would have been changed at each annual service.
i don’t know if anyone as a technician who represents a dealer and they carry out work for servicing a car and that specific car life depends on the air filter or on the oil filter /other items that was supposed to be replaced .
I’m sure any owner will be angry or not happy when they find this
Mine ,the air filter was changed in the second month after I bought car ( entered in a extremely dusty area and precautions and bought a new one from MB and changed )
Shocked to find the same air filter

No, I am not joking. I just can't make head or tail of your posts.

The air filter is due replacing every 4 years or 40,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Based on your description, it should have been replaced twice, when the car reached 40,000 miles and then again at 80,000 miles.

Are you saying that it wasn't actually replaced on either occasion? And that it still had the same air filter that the car left the factory with, back in 2019?

If so, then my original question remains:.
Welcome.

How can you tell that the (air?) filters have never been replaced?

Otherwise, I am afraid I don't understand your posts.... sorry.

It may have been serviced five times but the air filter is changed every 4 years (based upon time). If you miss a service in the fourth year then it won’t be prompted to be changed until the eighth year.

Sorry but I don’t think ,
The Air filter must be changed at service B and it’s included , also other filters like fuel and oil …

This is actually the quality of work done by Mercedes

Which model do you have and when was it registered?

It would be highly unusual for an official Mercedes service schedule to require that the air filter is changed every two years, or less, and even more so for a fuel filter.

Fuel filter life varies by model - as do other time and distance related additional items like spark plugs - but I have just had mine done for the first time after 15 years.

My original question was how do you know that the air filter has never been replaced?

You stated it in post #52, but we're in post #68 and you still haven't answered this very simple question.

So (for the last time from me): how do you know that the air filter has never been replaced?

(Not holding my breath)

The oil filter gets changed at each service.

On certain models the POLLEN filter (aka dust filter, aka cabin filter) is included with Service B.

But there's no model of MB car where the air filter (or any other filter, apart from the oil and pollen filters) replacement is included with service B.

You make accusations against MB dealers, but you seem to lack basic understanding of the MB service schedule.

The only thing included in service B is brake fluid change (every 2 years Air filters definitely arnt as mentioned numerous times above

The brake fluid change is actually due every two years, but it's not part of the B service.

If the car has always ever been serviced once a year since new, then the brake fluid will coincide with the B service.

But if the car was serviced (say) twice in the same year due to high mileage, then the brake fluid change will 'jump' one service and in future will coincide with A service.

Mine don't do huge mileage that's why as you say it coincides with the B service 🙂

Your air filter is due for replacement in 2013 for the first time, according to the Mercedes-Benz service schedule. A dealer will not replace it before four years unless you specifically request it.

I think that in the OP's case it would have been replaced sooner due to mileage.

He does acknowledge that it was changed, but claim that he later discovered that it wasn't.

I still don't understand how you can tell that an air filter hasn't been replaced, a year after the event. But I've given up hope of getting an explanation.

My MB air filter from Mann has a date code on it which suggests it's a 2020 made filter which is when it should have been changed.

I suspect its due next year again

And it's impossible that the replacement filter was new from old stock....?

But on the other hand if it was dated newer than the year of the car, it would exonerate the dealer I guess :)

I mean the car is a 2014 and had air filter replaced twice - once in 2018 and then in 2021. I presume the 2020 made filter was put in there in 2021. Any I have written a date on the air filter to make sure its replaced when it comes time to it. Has a big 19/5/2022 written on the side of it which is when I looked at it.
