Mine was registered April 2000
16-03-2000 for that one - so unofficially you have last C43 registered title

I thought about buying this car, solely because of the low miles and Tiptronic, if it had been a fully loaded example, and as described I would of given him something near his asking price.
Being only 91 in the country with Tiptronic, this eliminated the "alleged" gearbox weakness/problem.
As far as I,m aware all 2000 models had Tiptronic and the AMG style wheels as shown on this car, registration date is not an indication build date, my car is an April 1999 (suppling dealer was in Gibraltar) but the EPC shows it as being delivered (I think thats the term used) in October 1998, and the date coding of some parts show August 1998.

Mine does not have Tiptronic, i don't know when the build date was. Dealer in Gibralter ??? Why would that be ??

Hi,
I reckon it was for tax reasons (that was what he implied), though my car has had 6 previous owners, I bought it off of the guy (though his daughter owned it) who had ordered it from new and was his company car and was handed to various directors who registered it in their name, finally going to his daughter at 85,000 miles, she kept it for 3 years and asked her dad to sell it for her.
