Low miles owners be quick .... Cls55 Amg

There are a few W211 AMGs popping up for sale, some looking really sharp for its age. This one is coming up to 18 years old 🙌

Those rims look good! I owned a 6.2 e63, what an amazing car

Yeah starting to see a lot of nice e55s pop up too, especially on auto trader.

I’ve got a good feeling that w211 amgs soon will have their day; good examples are fetching some strong money already.

The thing is that with the cost of road tax for it you could have bought another after a few years!.....£735 per year ......ouch! Looks good though....the exterior has aged much better than the inside IMO.

The tax is expensive but then it’s still £415 for most of the larger petrol engined vehicles from 2001 onwards anyway such as the 211 E55.

I guess the lack of depreciation probably outweighs this anyway?

People get fixated on the cost of fuel or road tax, even maintenance but depreciation is the largest cost of motoring for most people.

I have that same thinking too, the legendary M113k and M156 could help with that. Keeping mine for sentiment reasons, hoping my kids will appreciate dad's car when I pass one day. Better than inheritance 🙂🙌

100%, while the w211 design is aging very well, I think it's the status of the two legendary engines that are to encourage their market value... Still very underrated cars for the money imo..

Yeah I watched the second video the other day; 'the godfather of AMGs' is what got me, nice to hear 😂

Found a C63 going for £17k, facelift version

.....and not at the silly money (especially for the miles) that many seem to be asking, but not getting, at the moment. Looks nice.

Ouch indeed, I wouldn't pay that, just seems so wasteful... but maybe that's just me.

I see a lot of people say well it's only another £320 per year to the tax man. You have to earn pre tax about 5-600 quid extra to pay that difference. Each to their own but that seems steep to me when a '55' AMG is just as quick as a '63', maybe more so in the real world where torque rules.
