Has anyone had any experience with LPG on Mercs, how have you got on..?
Thinking of converting my 2002 ML320, only 62k on it so the engine should be ok.

Any info would be appreciated.

I have a Romano multi-injection LPG system on mine and I am well happy with the economy and its performance.

I paid £1350.00 to have it fitted by www.mintlpg.co.uk who I have known for years as I did the KOG training video for them back a few ago..

I have a W reg C240 and recently did 330 miles on the motorway travelling at around 80mph both ways and it copst me £49.00 and would have cost me a hell of a lot more on petrol.

Don't even think about it....get it done !

I have owned 3 Merc's and had all 3 converted.

Have a single point LPG system on my W201 2.6 for the last five years and 65k miles. What I've saved in fuel costs has paid me back for both the cost of the installation.........and the car!

200 miles costs me less than £30. It cost less than £20 when I first had the conversion done!

There is this post which may help a little. With LPG systems you get what you pay for. PRINS is one of the best multi-point systems out there.
