I've been trying to resolve high fuel consumption on my 300CE-24 and after many dead ends have discovered that the cold start valve is powered all the time (12-14V between terminals). There doesn't seem to be a thermo time switch on my model and I've monitored the CSV as the car warms up from cold and power is always there at the CSV connector. I think on my model the fuel pump relay which drives this is in the MAS, but does anyone know how to take this diagnosis further (other than trial and error by replacing the MAS)?
