Map Pilot update - iOS

Hi all.

Newbie to the site, and I have tried searching but can't find an answer..

I have got a brand Garmin Map Pilot card that I can't update. It is brand new from the dealer and was activated yesterday, in my presence, so I know it's legit and within 60 days.

I think my issue is because I have a Macbook - I've read that the ios updater is out of date/no longer supported but I have it installed it on my macbook. It opens but says there's 'no storage medium found' with no options to do anything else.

If this is the case what options do I have, other than finding a windows pc?

Get the dealer to do it. If the are clever enough.

If it is brand new it shouldn't need an update?

Whilst it is brand new there are some new roads near me that aren’t on there.

I’m really surprised that there’s no iOS application!
