How do I find out what sat nav maps I have so I can get an updated version (not necessarily from a main dealer). Car is a 2018 GLA45. Thanks

Can i piggy back your post, mine is 2016 c class with audio 20, and i have seen on ebay Stevijo51 selling the sd cards, i saw a post of one person saying use him has anyone else just for another recommendation, or anyone else to use, thanks.

Hi , recently had the Sat Nav updated on the C207.

It was not very good before the update and in Shrewsbury a couple of weeks ago it was verging on dangerous with the information provided.

It's in the menu of the 'system ' installed in the car . It tells you maps version.

I bought my latest update for £23 for the Gla . Plug n play SD card , Garmin system from Stevijo51 , nice fella ..

For my c207 update I used this lad pictured .

Update for other people, i bought a Garmin update off ebay from Stevijo51, it works great and he was very helpful, so i would recommend him, Thanks.

Normally oct/Nov so latest maps have been released

I have the following system in my 2015 Mercedes.
Though, on checking the settings, it appears that it was updated in 2018.
According to the Mercedes dealer that I spoke with, the only way to update it is through them performing the latest map update. Which they would have to download themselves and will then only last for 48 hours in which to install it.
At a cost of £120 and will take approx an hour to do it.
Is there any other option, that I can consider.

£120 for a legit maps update from an MB dealer including installation isn't bad at all.

There are cheaper ways of getting it, though the eBay ones aren't strictly Kosher.

Ask UK Navi expert on that eBay page I listed . If anyone can ,he can. You'll need a code for your car I recon ,which he gets . The software download you'll be sent out on a 64 gig SD card . I started my update and went for a long drive with the Mrs , took over an hour tbh . More like 90 mins .I needed the sat nav to find my way home
