Getting someone from work show me how to do it, so I'll know for future reference

It's really not such a big deal!

Jack it up and pull the front wheel off.

Take out the plastic screws that secure the front part of the liner and peel it out.

The headlight unit is easily accessible from under the wing.

Hmm, fairly big deal then.

I once changed a headlight bulb on a company Rover 75 (facelift) which necessitated removing the wheel arch liner. Even then access was ****e.

Taking the wheel off would be a step too far, much better to pay Halfords or bung your tame Indy a tenner
 
MB and others could take a lesson from Volvo -headlight removal takes all of 30 seconds . I believe new Mondeos use a similiar system.
