MB World - Brooklands - Sunday Sept 15th 11:00am

It's been a while since we last had a get together at MB World. With so many people tied up over the summer months and more events than you can shake a stick at, it seemed pointless to create another until now.

So as per the title - MB World - Sunday 15th September - 11:00.

The usual format - aim to be in the car park for 11:00 followed by a quick chat about the cars we have turned up in (all interesting vehicles are welcome - we have had Trabants. Lexi, Ferraris and Morgans all turn up) - then into the cafe for coffee etc and a tour of the various new models and orange peel paint in the showroom.

All are welcome - old farts, new faces, partners - there will someone in our group to chat to.

Well, the list is coming along nicely and with just a week to go, it's probably time for those who have been undecided to add their names.

We are a friendly bunch - no formalities - just bring your car (any make, and we will enjoy listening to your excuses) - and bring your family too - plenty for them to look at and good coffee and food available - fast cars being driven at speed around the track - what else could you want

I'd hoped to be driving again, but realistically there's no way it's going to happen - I reckon it'll be another 3-4 weeks at least. Bah. So scratch me for this time and I'll try and make it to the next one - with the Oatlands for a pre-Xmas bite, perhaps?

May not be able to make this now - depends when the in-laws leave! Their motorhome blocks the garage ... so I can't get the SL out till they've gone
