MB World Driving Experiences...

I have hinted strongly to my wife that one of the SLS epxeriences would really make my christmas....

I've had a passenger ride in a C63 at MB World and can thoroughly recommend it. The MB Stig certainly shows what the car is capable of. To give you some idea, the track C63s average 6mpg :D

You'll enjoy all of them and all will leave you wanting more. If you want to learn rather than just have a taster then it may be worth asking about all day courses rather than experiences. They're not listed on the website although I've done one a Brooklands, so you never know. The AMG Driving Dynamics course was fantastic.

There's a Brooklands feedback thread here:

Have fun!!

I did an hour in a C63. It was a very impressive package (both the car and the AMG Experience). You really get to push the car to the limits. Excellent fun. From memory:

Maximum braking test
ESP test (on a skid pan)
Circuit driving (they have a great little baby circuit that plays to the strengh of road cars)
Skid pan session learning to power slide

All in a single hour. Brilliant.

Recommend the AMG Experience the best 1 hour i have had in a long time , I had a C63 CLS and boy very impressive and super fun and super fast . All the staff are very friendly i did my experience in july this year for £30 you can have the experience put on a very fancy leather and chrome usb stick so you can keep the memory of your super day i think its worth it i had a spare couple of hours the other day so i watched it again on my t.v. :thumb: So go for it JohnEBoy

I loved it, I went to the Pistonheads Sunday Service this time last year, did the AMG experience which was in the e63, I wanted the c63 but enjoyed it all the same, I uploaded some of my video to youtube and linked it from a thread on here, worth doing for sure, enjoy!!

I would recommend going on a week day, when they are less busy. I have been twice with a group of friends, and had very different experiences. First visit was on a relatively quiet day, and it was really good fun. Second visit was on a busy weekend, and I think it is safe to say none of us would go again.

They had made a mistake with the booking, and not allocated us any drivers. The attempt to sort this out was to squeeze us in later in the day, which messed up our plans as we had purposely booked the earliest slots possible because we had something else planned for the afternoon which we ended up having to cancel. Several of us found our rides cut short when we did finally get them, and the AMG experiences were distinctly underwhelming as there were clearly too many cars on the track at a time which meant you had to keep the speed down. But what really annoyed us was that at no point did anyone apologise for their error, and the staff seemed to think they were doing us a massive favour by cramming us in. I can understand that they were struggling to fit an additional eight people when they were clearly fully booked out for the day, but they made the mistake not us.

So my top tip is to try and go on a quieter period.
