Hi everyone. Just thought I`d introduce myself. I`m in the process of buying a 2007 C350 Sport....coming from a 300bhp Focus ST. Not sure it`s the right move....especially after recently choosing to spend 3k on going stage 2 on the ST but hey ho......change is good.

When I went from my 340bhp Scooby to an E46 M3 I regretted it and part ex`d the M3 after only 12 months.

I`m hoping that since turning 50 a couple of weeks ago, the change in pace will suit...only time will tell

Very nice car, but if you secretly want it to be a hot hatch like your Focus it will disappoint.

But if you want a quick fully-loaded and very comfortable saloon then it ticks ALL the boxes.

Thank you I hope I do enjoy it. In all honesty I wasn`t bothered if my ST hadn`t sold as it`s been the most reliable, fun car I`ve owned but as time is now passing and I`m waiting for mine to go so I can get the Merc, I just really want to get in the C and play with all the goodies

Just a quick "path to the Merc". I was looking at Range Rover Sports for a while (2007 - 2008) and then after a couple of months decided I`d have to throw to much money at one for something decent. Sooooo, I got thinking about auto / paddleshift again. As I was perusing BMW 335i`s....I spotted with my beady eye, the black beasty I`m currently waiting to get (once I have the cash for the ST) and thought hmmmmmm!

I also broke my golden rule and did hardly any research via forums....bad I know but, I have put myself off cars before now by reading the horror stories. So, in at the deep end and I just hope I haven`t bought (nearly) a lemon

Well....my beloved ST is definately being collected tomorrow so I`ll be able to collect my C350 on Tuesday now. Looking forward to it....just need to blag a lift off someone to pick it up now haha!!
