Mercedes Benz Dealer Stole my...

Hey Dieselman I do see your point, it was just the shock and thought of them stealing the disc. And also when I initially spoke to the bodyshop guy, he attempted to fob me off and that's what mede me come on here as I thought they were going to go down that route. Anyway its sorted now.

1. You can't prove that they 'stole' the disc, what you're saying is hearsay and therefore libellous
2. Your posts seem a little pointless as even if they did take it but aren't admitting to it, which is plain to see by the number of times you keep harping on about it, there is little the forum can do to get involved in something that is trivial
3. They have given you a replacement, and yet you still choose to go on and on and on about it, akin to a child who nobody is paying attention to

I dont want to argue, but no doubt you will reply to my points with some witty retort.

One of my point exactly for raising this thread here so others could be careful/wary when taking their cars anywhere not just the dealers to fix. Could you imagine what the story would have been had I noticed that the disc was missing after say a month?!

Would the heavens have opened and Armageddon begin? Maybe the earth will implode? Maybe creatures with the body of an ant and the head of a sheep will be born?

No, sorry my mistake

Paint off his car! ;)

I shall be checking my navigation disc very carefully tomorrow night when I collect mine from the dealers :D

I just love forums...

Even though they have sorted out a disc for me and I have thanked everyone, there are still those who want to come on this thread, analyse, query, pass judement and then look for an argument with me. I am not interested in that. I just thought as this is a forum that I am a member of, I would come here and let everyone no what happened to me and maybe people can be more careful/be aware of these things when going into dealers and stuff. That was my intention and also to get advice on what to do in the case they try to fob me off. I don't want to argue or trade words with anyone. I would not respond to anymore sly posts on here. So go ahead the few that want a fight on the internet and knock yourself out.

I think if it is missing you should get a sandwich board printed saying 'stealers' and wear it while stomping up and down their car park shouting "The end is nigh....." :D

No, the reaction to all incidents of this nature is already prescribed in one of my previous posts. You must kill the entire dealership staff with a frozen haddock.

Exactly. Up the ante a little, otherwise you risk slipping from piscatorial extermination into the comical depths of Monty Python's "Fish Dance".

How are you Steve? Anything stolen recently? :D

Rather well. Been out for a delightful Burrito with halbebjero salsa. Was hot...

Can someone edit the misleading thread title.. and replace the word stole with misplaced / lost and replaced / hid / used powers of voodoo on ?

Original issue sorted & the thread has now gone past its sell by date.

Closing :)
