Mercedes-Benz S55L Kompressor AMG (LWB Limousine)

That is very nice. What makes it a “One-off” though :dk:

A quick look on 'howmanyleft' shows about 120 S55L Ks registered in the UK. So although I'm sure many of them are silver or black, I'd be surprised if there weren't a few more in other M-B colours out there.

That seller always has a few W220's up for sale.

I will be in the minority here but I think the colour is vile

That's a lot of car for that money. The colour ain't bad but I'd prefer a cream interior

U still have that lexus.....yak

Disliking a car and disliking a colour are two different things!:D

Anyways, after owning

1 x W220 S600L
1 x W140 S500L
1 x W140 S600L
3 x C140 CL500
4 x LS400
1 x LS430

I think I can say with confidence and from experience that the Lexus are extraordinary cars and, in more than a few ways, have the upper hand on the Mercs.

Am I now :ban: for that last statement?? *grin*

I like the colour scheme but I always think jasper blue looks great in pictures but not quite so good in the metal. That would have been a special order at some exhorbitant cost to have jasper blue on a 220. It probably will be the only one in the UK.

How's your w124 doin??

yeh good thanks, i recently put a new bosch battery on it, the gearbox that i was having probs with is great now thanks to everyone who gave tips and information

Andy slackend a cable and adjusted the grub in the box and its sweet now

just got to send the drivers seat in to cass brothers in bromley for a seat cover swap, but looking tight on cash at moment so may have leave it for another month

and thinking about removing the head lamp washers as they both need new motors and i think they look better without

just a few jobs then :D

will be a really good example when i have those finished

hope you had a nice xmas and best wishes for the new year

Really? I thought it was a standard M-B colour?
It was but I think only on the C-class and CLK. Dont think it was ever a standard colour on the larger cars - might be wrong though.

nice car first time i have seen a 55 engine look small in a car i like the color
