I know it has been widely covered on here but had a spare day today so took a trip to Mercedes world and brooklands museum.
Benz world did not have as much to see and do as I expected but still worth the trip. Some great exhibits like the hanging f1 car
And the Stirling moss slr
And a 7lt s class amg
Brooklands has a real hap hazard feel to the way it is laid out but again some good things to see and being able to walk up the famous banking was worth the trip on its own. There's not a lot left but seeing how high the bank is, it's hard to imagine the racing that went on there.
Also first proper trip in the c220, 150 mile round trip. Starting to loosen up nicely now she has 1400 miles on her. The gearbox that felt quite notchy early on especially when coming to a stop is also getting better with miles.
The sport+ suspension that can feel firm around town feels really stable at speed and its such a comfortable easy car to drive that the journey just flew by.
