Mercedes Cl500 Sat nav/tv tuner

I have just bought a Mercedes CL500 2000 model, it has factory fitted SAT nav, and TV tuner - smaller version , I have two questions, firstly can I play DVD's on this? is it a software upgrade? secondly I have a problem with the sat nav where it does not recognise where I am - says I am OFF ROAD?

PS. anyone got a wood steering wheel for one of these - will one off an S Class fit?

Firstly you can almost definitely plug any AV device into your TV tuner including a DVD player to watch DVDs, otherwise you can't play them with comand 2.5.

Secondly if the road isn't on the map CD then OFF ROAD is all you get, which map disc is it?

Thirdly S-class (W220) steering wheels will work in your car.

I don't think the CD is original is that the problem? I have another original CD from my Mercedes W211 APS50 sat nav system will this work? If not which CD do I need - thanks
