Hi Guys
I recently have an issue with the supercharger flap that sits on the side of my airbox which regulates the air through the blow-off pipe from the supercharger.
The problem being it stays open in the horizontal position and does not alter when I rev the engine as it should. One point to mention is that this happened at the exact same time one of my ignition coils failed, which I have now replaced, so I am guessing perhaps a voltage surge has damaged the air-flap?
I had the codes read, but nothing came up, the supercharger is working but because the flap is not closing correctly I do not get the same boost?
Does anyone have one of these by pass valves they want to sell or even If they have a spare I could test my car with? I have seen them on ebay and may just buy a second hand one.
