Hi everyone,

My car was recently scraped and as a result, suffered damage to the Left-hand-side rear panels. Some of the marks can be felt with a fingernail. Please see the photos attached.

I was wondering how I could do a satisfactory repair at home? I have scratch remover and original paint.

Many thanks in advance.

I have found any home paint repairs are , at best , adequate - more so if they have been done outside or in an non clean environment.

Depending on how fussy you are regarding the paintwork I would contact a few local bodyshops and get a price to get it done properly , the price may surprise and at least it will be done properly.

I had the entire rear quarter done on the boys Fiesta at a local place for £180 , and the door on his previous car for £240.

I was at the same place yesterday as the wife kindly scraped the side of her new car , only had the thing two days :mad: , on the wall at the entrance to the driveway.
