I live in France and just picked up a 00/01 ML270 with 150k miles for £1500 that was left at a garage after the usual oil pump to turbo death and the mechanic leaving the engine in bits with an array of parts in the boot.
Apart from debating whether to change the motor or rebuilding it and the turbo I have a list of parts that I need ranging from the RHD upper trim, lower center console wood trim (auto box) and compression struts on the boot door to to the engine or oil pump and turbo or a cartridge repair kit.
Does anyone know a good UK or Euro supplier for second hand parts including a complete engine! I use eBay of course and a good source in Germany called teilehaber.de (use google and German English dictionary to translate) but trim can be a pig to get hold of.
