I would like the thank merccedes of stockport for carrying out some teething problems on my new 320cdi sport and a scratch that someone kindly done on the passenger side door and leaving me a new 350sport to use whilst my car was being dealt with and keeping me updated with the progress on my car

They sold me a lovely low milage E320 spori in silver , when I signed for it someone had keyed the door I was quite upset and they assured me they would deliver me a new car whilst they collected mine in a few weeks and any other teething problems that I had they would also sort them out I found a small chip in the window (sorted) and a slight oil leak from the filler cap (sorted) and also replaced my floor mats for me the car is now having the door painted to merc specifications and it will be delivered to me on wed :bannana::bannana:
In the meantime I am enjoying this lovely white sport with all the extras

A very happy customer who will be returning in a few years time to see if they can find me something to my prefection and fussyness

Always nice to hear of good service. The people in the parts department at the Stockport branch are a nice bunch (Sally is most helpful and knows her stuff - a pleasure to deal with).

Without wanting to take the gloss of the this positive thread, I suggest that you check, and double check that the shade of the silver panels match-up perfectly. I had some warranty paintwork (two new front wings) carried out by MB Manchester and although the paintwork was perfect, I have since noticed that the wings are a slightly different shade to the bonnet and doors.

I've since discovered an excellent MB approved bodyshop in Altrincham who are exceptional in all they do.

two and a half years ago I bought my CL55 from MB Brooklands. it was one of the best purchase experiences I have ever had. And before you ask, no, the price was not exhuberant. In fact I found the car at Brooklands after a six month search for the right car at the lowest price. They serviced the car fully, did a 50 points plus chech and sorted out nearly 5 grand worth of work, all minor stuff but valuable nevertheless. I then inspected the car and came up with another half a dozen things I wanted sorted like full wheel refurbishment etc. They did those too without a question. I had the car serviced by them whilst I had it. Always superb.

Ps forgot to add they threw in an AMG experience with the sale and had the car "unveiled" from under a silver silk cover when I picked it up!

I purchased a CLK220 CDI today - despite some very minor glitches at the start,the hand over experience,was sublime - sorted all my requests,car was presented in the showroom and tank filled up - could not ask for more :bannana:
