I am living in Lewisham, anybody could recommend a good mb garage commutable to do service? Thanks

Wright Tech Mercedes: Sandy Lane, Sidcup. Ask for Andy. Tell hime that you are from the forum and mention Bruce. Highly recommended on here and does all my cars.

Keys Bexleyheath Mercedes-Benz Repairs

Ask for danny, top guys and cheaper than wright tech when i obtained quotes from both.

I would not recommend these guys, based on my experience with them. I got them to do an oil change on my old car before selling it to my neighbor. It turned out that they didn't put in enough oil as the low oil light came on within a month of selling it. Car sits on their drive mostg of the time... :fail

Hi,
I would also recommend James Leigh, I've used them a few times, VERY helpful and excellent service.

I would definitely recommend James Leigh....Lee & Robin are good guys and have been using them for 6+ years now..:thumb:

Had a car serviced at Wrightech. They were too busy to take it immediately and suggested I drop it off in a week which implied they were in demand and is in itself a positive sign. That said, one week post drop I'd had no feedback. I rang and was advised it required parts (which they'd not ordered nor of course informed me of). Cue another week until ready to collect.

When I came to collect, I noticed it was parked next to a hedge and impossible to get in and out of without opening the door onto and within it. That too is unacceptable.

I don't dispute capability, but keeping a customer informed and keeping the scratches off the paintwork is surely part of the service.

So it was ok before nearly a month was up so where did the oil go ....some one stole it ?

I would suggest the car is burning oil as the level must have been correct at some point
or the low oil light would have been on from the moment you picked it up.

Perhaps the new owner has been giving it a good thrashing ...............

The op asked for reccomendations. Not for people to vent their spleen about hedges and oil going missing.
