2017 Audi RS6 Avant Performance Edition. Range Rover Supercharged - Lovely!
Shame it's a left hooker, but rare, and a car to marvel at. LINK.

390 bhp? Is that it.

Sounds like a **** load of money for not a lot of horses

That's progress, the incoming W213 E43 AMG is 400hp. That's now considered an AMG "lite".

The reality is on the road that's about as much as can ever be used. The current V8 (or V12) AMG's are so powerful you need to be visiting VMax type events or Germany to fully enjoy them.

Stupid comment. What do you want from an early 90's V8?

I think it's pretty incredible to be honest, just a shame it's not a facelift model.

It'll sell no doubt, someone with a collection of interesting cars/Mercs will snap it up.

Exactly!!!!! I wouldn't spend 10k on a 90's V8

For 10k (and if I wanted a V8 merc) I'm not sure I do. I would buy a CL55K, 10k would get you a fairly low milage decent condition 2003/2004 and if your lucky maybe even a 2005.

500BHP and a worthy future Classic Merc

The one in the op will be a pile of rust In 5 years if left out and used as it should be.

Alternatively you could put it in a showroom and look at it, knowing that if it even looks at the outside air, rust will appear!

I love the way this post has gone.

Everyone getting on their high horse and defending the car. It's just a car peeps and I, like all of you! have an opinion about it.

My comments are no more stupid than anyone's else's there just an opinion.

My opinion has been stated many time in this thread. And here they are again

It's nice car that was sensibly priced until the dealer (who bought the car not as a dealer) and then used the previous sellers description and photos, (according to the previous seller that is) doubled the price.

If you would be prepared to pay 10k for that you must have more money than sense, I believe (my opinion) that 10k could be spent on a better car! I've listed a 2003 A6 Avant 4.2 V8 twin turbo (quattro, obviously) 452 bhp, far better car in every way and that's just one example that took me about 5 mins to find.

Everyone can have their opinion. Nobody is stupid because of an opinion .

Worth it as a collector's item? I've no idea; let's see if it sells.

Worth it as a car? No.

I may have this wrong, but the 10k W210 e55 that a member bought (from another member) and is now selling (using the original sellers advert) isn't this car?

The link takes you to a black, imported from Japan, W210 e60.

Priced at £36k.

I'm assuming you'll not be placing a bid Michael?!?

Interesting that the paintwork can be so good - literally looks pristine - yet under the bonnet photographs are a little less bright & shiny.

I'm sure a car if that age that looked that good would have been kept as pristine / shiny under the bonnet too.

Most likely (and not surprisingly when asking £36k) the sellers spent good money on a pro detail, but given the sale price, why not spend the extra to make it appear so well cared for everywhere?

It leaves me thinking that the under bonnet is the more realistic view of its previous life?

Super rare and desirable imo. I think any 60/70/73 AMG is worth the money as a collectors item due to their rarity if this classic car prices bubble we're in doesn't pop anytime soon.

But why oh why those wheels?! And the rear parking sensors, guessing they're aftermarket?

Could definitely do with an engine detail lol

Wheels definitely do not look original, wouldn't the whole point of a car like this to be as close to original spec as possible?

Exactly my point, but I suppose this one isn't too bad as its only wheels! Its not one of the typical jap imports where they change everything
