Well I'm not really from the Midlands, but shall be passing through sometime or other so thought if I was passing around the same time, I might as well attend. Shall update you later in the day on my attendance (don't expect a clean exterior :D )

Took it to MB - body work blokey says "it looks worse than it is". Will get a few quotes and make a decision what to do about it. You can all get a look tomorrow night!
 
Some good reassurances from other members about the repair… I’m sure it will be a decent job…

Ouchy, how long have you had it for? If you had a W202 I would say that all you need to do is depart with £50 for a new bumper skin :cool: however you have a W204 :o

Had it since Good Friday :( Not happy but at least its something cosmetic that can wait if necessary. Just wish people would allow other drivers some room when waiting for spaces....

Ive got Bobbys number just incase i get lost again..
 
Not going to be able to make this one. :mad:

No feeling 100% HP at the moment and busy trying to get house ready for the For Sale board etc.
 
What time is the GTG? Also can someone pop a postcode/street address my way?

SEM will be there from 1930, and I'll be there shortly after 1945 (blooming parents evening moved to tonight).

Address kindly reminded by jonf above.

You can't miss this place - it's on a major junction in the centre of the city - and it's not hard to find because Lichfield is teeny. It's actually in the middle of the roundabout where the A461 (from Walsall) and A51 (from Stafford and Tamworth), and just a mile or two from both the A5 and A38.

Good to meet you all tonight.

It's always a pleasure to meet Jay and SEM, and tonight was no exception.

JonF and Graeme are great guys too - not least because Graeme very kindly treated to some drinks - and JonF for chaufferring Graeme all the way from Telford, to buy the rest of us drinks. Both stars and now formally initiated to MBClub.

What ever you do though:
(1) Don't buy a caravan from either of them, especially by Western Union.
(2) Don't even think about starting a conversation about Lovel Homes.
(3) Go faster than the car beside you if there's a 'copter above you.

Finally I think we have found the perfect venue for future Midlands mini-GTGs. Let's just say the views were nicer than previous venue. Ahem. ;)
 
PS Ibrar - Hope everything's OK - we missed you buddy.

We stood outside for 4 hours in case you arrived. We finally gave up at 23.40 to run our finger tips under hot taps to derost. I think I can now feel the keys now. Almost. Brrr.
 
Hey sorry Bobby, I ain't required to go to Birmingham until Friday. I should have mentioned this earlier. However I shall be keeping my eyes and ears open for the next GTG
