Got a brand new E class 2 weeks ago and today went too take the wheels off too wax them and the locking wheel nut key is missing out the black box where spare wheel is , going too phone the dealer tomorrow , will they be able too get a replacement easy enough ? Pretty annoyed tbh had too wax the wheels with them on :wallbash:

Normally there are 20 or so keys and the dealer has a master box. Takes a few minutes to find out which one it is.

My experience is dealer use one of their masters so this seems unusual.

You would be rather more annoyed if you had suffered a punctured tyre!

Master set at dealer 50 in total, they will go through the set give you the number for your set, most common ones are in stock expect to pay around £20 for the key.

If absent from a new car I would not be expecting to pay at all:thumb:

I won't be paying anything it's a new car lol, but I'm glad they will have a key and be able too order 1 in, I want too go too Glasgow dealership also not Edinburgh where I bought it , but I will phone Edinburgh first and get them too organise it

Drill them out. Useless anyway. People will nik your car not your wheels as it's easier :)

inside the back cover of your service/maintenance book will have a little sticker with a code number, for example mine is 313, just give them the number they will have keys in stock
