ML270 change to 7 seater

Hi I just wondered if you can change M Class 5 seater to 7 seater easily, as trying to sell and everyone who rings up asks if 7 seater.

Its a expensive conversion if you are only doing it to sell it faster.

You need x2 seats
x2 sidw panels and about 4 hours to fit it.

Do you think its not worth it to sell then, had it up for about 2 months now no interest what so ever, just to find out if it has 7 seats, had 1 view liked it but his wife too scared to drive it. Tried dropping price, but I might as well give it away soon. Can part exchange reasonable, but I dont want to buy new car.

Its alot of money to spend just to sell the car. Is the price you are asking too much? Just a thought.

Well ML270CDI 72000 02 Black £12,500 facelift. Very good interior and body just stone chips, I think it is quite reasonable. Seen some up for £16000. I dont know, I paid £17000 last year, but I just lost my job cant afford my loan on it, I'm gutted I got to get rid of it, best car I ever had.

I haven't really looked to see if the others are 5 or 7 seats actually, I just see ML270CDI and the year, I gonna take a re check on other vehicles. Thanks.

Yep just checked and I dont think Im overpricing it. Just looked about and I think it might be worth just knocking price down some more rather then having seats put in. Thanks for all your help.

5 seaters are worth about 1K less, if it hasnt got lux pack (i.e. full leather) then knock another 1K off...

If you want to sell at trade price then let me know and "cash is waiting" as they say...

I've seen the rear seats go for £600 - £750 on flebay.

However does the pack from the factory not include the seats, seat belts, opening rear windows

The price you are asking sounds fair enough, I'm supprised so many people want the seven seats? I have mine wrapped up in the garage for when I sell it.

about £10-10.5 maybe a little more/less depending on condition.

Was thinking of this thread at the Shell station today. ML parked next to us had 7 seats, and even with them folded the boot was teeny.

Great if you really need 7 seats, but for folks like us that don't need them but occasional use might be handy, the a 5 seater is a more practical proposition, unless of course they're removed as A210AMG suggests.
