Yesterday evening at about 5.00pm I had to call out Mobilo as the car was leaking coolant all over the place by the time I got home.

They told me that they would not be able to send a Merc technician at that time but they could have the car recovered by an external recovery company and taken to a Dealer.

So, I said OK and about 35min later a recovery truck arrived and asked me what I want done with the car !!!! I explained what I was told on the phone and he told me that he can't take it to the Dealer now because its closed, but they could come back tomorrow at 7am to collect the car.

So this morning I woke up at 6.30 am and peeked out of the window and saw a recovery truck pulling up two cars lengths away from my entrance.

I quickly rushed and got dressed and waited for this guy to knock. I waited and waited , and nothing. So, I took my time , had a cup of tea, then walked to the recovery vehicle to find the driver spread out in the cab and fast asleep !

I left hime there and went back in.

At 8.30am, ( he has now been sleeping for almost two hours) this guy knocks on my door and says to me " Ive been out here since 6.45 !!!! Can you please explain to me why you didn't come out and give me your car ???"

I replied " did you knock on my door ?"

Then he said in an upset tone " No but ive been out there since 6.45 waiting !!!!"

So I told him "I came out at 7.am and looked into your cab but you were spread out fast sleep !!!!!"

That shut him up bigtime !!!!

Oh and the other thing....Mobilo provided a replacement vehicle....a brand new E class......only thing is it didnt arrive at my house till midnight last night, but never mind....at least Im mobile for the weekend :D
