Momentary Power Loss

Thanks for the link grober, after much searching and head scratching, your spot on.

It seems that the Fuel Pump Relay is integrated into the Fuse & Relay Module (Item K40/4 in WIS).

Question is, can this be overhauled? I suspect not, probably a replacement module.

Think i had better start a new post on this one though.

Mnay thanks again to all.

They can all be fixed

Just an update.

ave spoken to my mechanic friend and he says no problem is soldering up the fuse relay joints (and he says it's in the boot near the battery for my car).

Been out a couple of times and have managed to slow the idle speed down a bit. Initial starting from cold is lumpy but a quick blip on the accelerator cures this.

Have noticed that car picks up speed nicely when driven like a chauffeur and is smooth as silk, but any attempt to force acceleration causes the power loss, so it's not just when it's foot the floorboards.

Don't know if this points to a problem elsewhere other than the fuel pump relay????
