Having finally realised the dream of owning an AMG, I was keen to embark on a "Road Trip". My house to Monte Carlo I thought - no worries! Not only did I underestimate the distance, but also the cost of petrol (which I thought was cheaper in France) and the cost of those French motorway tolls! Overall, I travelled 1700 miles in 5 days, spent £95 on tolls and £450 on petrol. However, as the Mastercard advert would say, the thrill of putting the AMG through it's paces, and indeed driving around the Monte Carlo Grand Prix circuit was........ Priceless!
