Anyone know of a decent bodyshop in Solihull or Birmingham please?

Mrs P caught the rear offside wheel arch , bumper and side step on our wall this morning!

Four feet to spare on the left!!

I'll take it to our local Toyota garage for a quote this morning. Anyone want to hazard a guess as to the Toyota price?

Happy days.

What about the place off Lode Lane that MB use - I can't remember the name, but if a main dealer uses them I suspect they are pretty good.

If you need a ride back from anywhere, just let me know.

Thanks John.

I know the place you mean. I took my E36 there for a quote for a bit of tidying up and nearly fell off my chair!

Off to Toyota in a minute.

Ouch. Was she trying to demolish the house?

You will find that the arch trim will clip back into place with a handful of new clips (£15 or so).

Looking at the damage, a smart repairer should be able to do that in a couple of hours.

If you find a good local smart guy (and there are some cowboys), they should guarantee their work for 12-24 months.

Took it to my local Toyota in Solihull, service manager there seems to think it can be clipped back and Smart repaired and a new fog lamp.

Suggested I take it to their actual body shop in Brum city centre. It's about 10 miles or so.

Get to bodyshop - man off sick and no one else can help! Taken my number and will call.

Tempted to find local Smart man.

Just had the quote in from Toyota.

Just a shade over £1000!

The wheel arch is £350 but it does come ready painted though. Phew.

I think that is monumentally taking the pi55 for a plastic moulding.

Palfrem,

If you want to use our bodyshop, they will do that for not a lot and good quality... That panel doesnt look broken from the pics?

Looks like She caught the running board as well...
