It's not often you visit somewhere and leave wanting to spend even more money there! Fantastic service, really love the cars and knowledgable there. Everyone is friendly! It's like being part of a family when you take your car here! See you again soon!

Also Acid bought everyone lunch. Staff, customers and even the unit next door!

Fantastic team of people working here and Pav the chap working on mine did a great job!

Thanks guys :)

What did you have done Stu? (Sounds like you've been to the dentist!!!)

Ant.

Had an A service + Gearbox fluid and filter change using genuine MB parts.

Gearbox is noticeably smoother and much faster at changing!

I wish it was closer

A chap had driven from Durham to here in a Tenorite Grey C63 for his remap his car was pukka!

Where are they based? Sounds a worthwhile trip.

I believe so. It low mileage though.

Im intending on having mine done next service. It was done 30k ago but still going to get it done for piece of mind. Not bad for an oil burner thou [emoji85]

Worth doing. I was told the harsh shift was due to the map by someone else and clearly it wasn't as this gearbox service has cured it.

The oil coming out was filthy with a lot of shavings on the magnet in the sump so worth doing.

I like to think of it as preventative maintence. Did the diff oil last month along with the disc & pads

This is interesting.

I was reading about XF-Rs a little while back as a potential change for my car.

The advice I kept reading was split on ATF changes.

Jaguar say sealed for life and half the advice agreed (stating contamination was the only issue and they did not need changing).

The other half said change the fluid as every gearbox wears and will fail prematurely otherwise.

Certainly seems to suggest the "change fluid" advisers are right on these modern generation autos.

Pav said that it's quite normal how mine came out and mine had done 46k miles according to the service record. For some reason everything was done but this on a previous service. I didn't realise until recently. It won't harm it he said but now it's done it's loads better.

The pulsating I had on my brake pedal sat at idle has gone too.

I've never believed anything is sealed for life.

My only issue was now I've seen underneath I wish I had that Weistec oil pan :D
