My Brand new 2nd hand W124 200E 4V

I thought I'd post some pictures of my Brand new 2nd hand '93 W124 200E 4V.

I plan to have a little tweek, tint the windows, some bigger wheel, maybe clean up the rusty bit.

What do you think? nice canvus?

Did MB do any other colour than Midnight Blue in '93? My 280E is the exact same colour.

Usually find plenty of bonnet stars on e-bay, worth checking dealer price first though.

About a tenner from the dealer for the genuine article , why bother with anything else ?

My avarter is my other W124 which will become my donor car, I'll be pinching lots of bits & pieces from that before I'm finished with it

Probably want to edit your car details in the info panel (on the left) to read "16V" and not "4V". Or does 4V refer to something else?

I think 4V stands for four valves per cylinder...

Nice car! I like these and if I had a tad more drive space I'd take a punt on one for some fun Saw loads of beautiful ones in Russia and got me a tatse for them! Maybe next year I'll get one for there, although prices are MUCH higher there!!

Buy one here, drive it there (Russia) & then sell it, £££.

Sadly, not so easy The import tax there is horendous! This was one way that Putin tried to slow down the importation of foreign cars to try to boost the Russian motor industry! Haha! Opel should do that now!
