My CLK in on eBay now...

Hi Kate,

I have seen and listened to tpwuk's car. It is superb. The roof works as it should too.

He keeps it in tip top condition and the last time I saw it it fair glimmered in the sun shine. You will not go wrong if you get this car. I'm not sure what hats taste like but I will defo eat mine if you do not think this car is the one for you once you see it in the flesh.

Thanks John....your doing a great job of talking me into keeping it! :thumb: ;)

Cheers John, It's the kind of car Paul keeps telling me to buy.. I've been driving 14yrs and have owned
1. Fiat Panda 750cc
2. Citroen AX 1.1i
3. Smartie 599cc (but they do have turbos..)
4. Smart forfour 1.5 CDi
5. Nissan Cube 1.4 (jap import)
6. Escort Xr3i convertible... yeah enough said there...
7. Toyota iQ 1.33

I still have 4 of these and need to 'thin' the numbers, they are covered on the business insurance so that and storage space not so much of an issue... I just need to bite the bullet, list on ebay/autotrader etc and clear them out....

Oh and stop being talked into keeping it, you were talking me into buying it remember....

You poor girl :D

My Wife owns a CLK - not a cabrio unfortunately but she says it's the nicest car she has ever owned. I must admit I love it too, quiet as a mouse, goes like stink when you plonk the pedal down.

Every conceivable extra - all working.

She has no problem parking it, uses it all the time. She had a 3 series before the CLK - no comparison.

Lots of cabin space - good size boot. Looks well on the road.

Beautiful cars.

Those Cubes are the biz !!

There's one round here run by one of the autocar boys , its a cool purple colour with big wheels , and blacked out windows ...

Sounds terrible , but looks great !!

What does one of them go for price wise ?

£4000-4500 for mine :) Orange with dark wheels :) It IS great, we had 4 adults in it with loads of space, big boot too and fits my quirky car criteria! I've had it 3 years now iirc and it's been a good car, just not really country lane material lol

Kate

Honestly ..... 430's are great !! ;)

You would say that, wouldn't you!

If I could get a proper job I would be enjoying a V8 as much as you seem to.
