It is a nice car, had 175K on it when I sold it two years ago. Think I sold it for £6700 at the time.

Sounds a lot as you say given 188K

If he gets £6K in two years thats a cheap car for him...but I doubt it.

He did spend a lot on the bodywork, it had rust in the usual places which wasn't covered by MB but even so. It was up for sale last year but didn't make the reserve. I think he will be lucky to get £4500, probably nearer £4000.
