Hi guys,
My CLS kept showing the ESP fault, and before I used to just put the steering lock to lock, start the car again, and would be fine. But today it threw the ESP light up again with a couple of others so I took it to a local garage I always go to and these are the codes I've gotten.
4D41 - MIL ON&Stored - One or more signals transmitted by the control module N80 (Steering Column Module (SCM/MRM)) via the CAN bus is implausible.
5485 - MIL ON&Stored - Hold function: CAN signal Battery voltage from the control module 'N10/2 (Rear SAM (Signal Acquisition and Actuation Module) with fuse and relay module)' is implausible.
9062 - Stored&Current - Communication fault with the component 'Battery sensor (1)
9334 - Stored - Component N49 (Steering Angle Sensor (SAS)) is faulty.
From googling and looking at the forum the 4D41 and 9334 codes can potentially be fixed by opening the steering wheel then disconnecting and reconnecting the connectors or just replacing the sensors entirely. Also, not sure but the 9062 code can be fixed by changing the auxiliary battery?? , and not sure what the others mean.
Please help out!
Thanks
