Need upgrade from Nokia 3110 to bluetooth.
As mentioned in an earlier post, I have (had) a W210 with a Nokia 3110 cradle. After hours of research, I thought I had the info I needed convert this for use with the Viseeo MBU 1000. At the last minute, I rang my local independant Mercedes repair place. By some miracle, he happened to have an old 6150 cradle (not UHI) and the right controller (part number A203 820 99 26, I think) in a box of bits. He connected it up for me and the Viseeo works perfectly (with a Samsung Tocco Lite - manual download of contacts neccessary). Well done Merc Medic near Guildford! I have the estate and the controller was in the back right next to the CD changer. The cradle is not fixed yet and I probably won't bother as it seems ok.
It just shows that it can be done, it is easy to do and the Viseeo works a treat. My thanks to all those here and elsewhere who have given so much helpful information.

I started to look into different approach. mark1 - I still would like to ask for above but now I wonder about something. What would happened if I would use data cable CA-27 from nokia:

It has communication both ways. It plugs into RJ45 socket like the one under my armrest. Then I checked Nokia CK-7W and compatibility on phones and that cable:
Nokia Advanced Car Kit (CK-7W) Compatibility
Its obvious my car already comes with control unit for Nokia - will it be able to use this cable with phones dirrecly or possibly by connected Viseeo unit.
Whats the difference between Nokia units from Merc?
BTW. Anyone local to Leeds with Viseeo MB1000 unit? I would like to test it if someone feels like it - in a name of science.

Change to my previous post with apologies: The cradle is a Nokia 6210 I think, part no. A203 820 04 51. As I did a deal the amount I paid is not relevant here. Check ebay/google for more realistic prices but have seen controllers for about £40.00-150.00.
I couldn't comment on other Nokia wiring. I have been assured that the 3110 cradle and contoller are not compatible with Viseeo.
