Even though it is an SLS engine Usher "built" I think it's ultimately trying to make the A class appeal to the youth.

I take this as a sign I am no longer part of that demographic

That's exactly my point, he's a very talented and successful sportsman BUT he's not a pleasant person or at least that's the persona he likes to portray. Nigel Mansel, Carl Forgarty, Andy Murray and the list goes on and on. It's not that I don't have any national pride when it comes to sport it's just that I don't care for the type of people who seem to be most successful as opposed to all the sheep out there who jump on one of these objectional ***** backs just because they're successful, Carl Fogarty was the worst of the lot.

Button on the other hand completely breaks the mould and comes over as a genuinely nice bloke, as does his father, and I support him but not because he's British first, that's just an added bonus, but he is a rarity.

Now I dont view Lewis Hamilton as behaving in that way but I am sure we can agree to differ on that ! I just sometimes get fed up with the growing British disease of seeing someone successful and knocking them for that rather than enjoying it and being proud of them. Our American cousins get this right, they see a guy in a Lambo and say " one day that will be me" . Brits see the same thing and say " how can I take that away from that flash git or vandalise it ? "
Rant over and we will agree to disagree about Hamilton !

I thought Usher's fan base was made up of screaming teenage girls, not their 26yo chav dads.

and I would hope the car he built would be used for NCAP testing and not sold on to a punter.
