New car new niggles

so i bought my new c class estate today (well 57 plate one) and i've realised that the mirrors don't work the buttons to fold them in and move them do nothing... also the hazards, esp, alarm off and tow buttons are not working. i'm assuming it's a fuse issue.. but i'm not sure.


also when the engine is running there is a well it's almost a hiss noise coming from what i think is behind the lights control... any ideas on that one?

If none of the mirror controls work then I'd suspect someone's had the door card off and not reconnected the switch! Do the "left" and "right" light up when they're pushed?

No, not at all

If you got it from a dealer then get them to fix it, if not then the door cards are relatively easy to remove (two bolts and some plastic wedges/brute force) and check it's not come undone. It could also be a fuse - check the manual first!

Found out the hiss comes from the headlight adjustment switch... When it's down no hiss.
