New Car Order Question

Hello all,

I have mentioned this before that I am getting a C-Class on Lease when I return to the UK.

My question is this. How long is the lead time for new car orders at the moment?

I got an email from the lease company on the 25th July 2011 saying that the car had been put on order with the dealer.

The car ordered is a C-Class C250 CDi Sport Edition 125 Saloon with 7G-Plus. No other extras, except Metallic Paint.

I am hoping to get the car as soon as possible after my return to the UK on the 7th September 2011. It's been a while since I have had the pleasure of having a car to drive as and when I want it...

I placed an order for an E350 Coupe at the end of March and still do not have a definite delivery date, although likely to be mid September, so about 6 months.

I would assume that a C class may be quicker but Mercedes were affected badly by the Japanese earthquake which has caused a lot of supply issues.
