Good morning all.
New owner and first post so apologies if posted in the wrong area
I acquired a 03 93,000 mile C320 Avantgarde this Tuesday. Good service history, excellent condition overall and delivered to me with a new MOT and a 2 year warranty for £4050.
My local MB specialist in Downton (Headlands Garage) thought it would have been around £5-5,000!
The only things slightly bugging me are the interior lights, neither the front or rear interior lights operate from any door although the front one works when manually switched and comes on when the key is removed. Any ideas? I cannot imagine all 4 door switches would fail.
The only other slight irritant is the inertia reel on the drivers side squeeks when I move back and forward so I intend to remove the trim and carefully spray silicon lubricant onto the mechanism unless this a bad idea?
The MOT had no advisories but there is a slight "clonk" from the offiside front over rough tracks and potholes, notrhing on normal roads. My local specialist is seeing it next Friday to do the A service (due in 800 miles anyway) and give it a general check over.
Thank you in anticipation of expert advice.
Regards
David
