New member - Viano 3.0CDI

Hello to all

Just picked up 57 plate Viano 3.0CDI Ambiente in Magma Red. Extra long.

Previously owned a E320 CDI estate 06 plate and then a E350 CDI estate both run by my better half.. Had to sell a couple of years back.

Now back in the Merc saddle with my Viano which is just for family and friend transportation!

The 350 had, and my main car (Lexus 450h) has a reversing camera and so am finding reversing the extra long Viano a challenge! One which I hope to overcome with this forum.....

I'd have thought a reversing camera would be quite easy to add, particularly if you have COMAND?

Our 3.0 Vito is only a 'Long' but the Parktronic is certainly very handy in car parks!

There's a few Vito/Viano members here, (some of which are always tinkering to good effect) so you are in good company.

Conversely, I switched from a long wheel base Sprinter, (which I could slot into the tightest of spaces) to a compact Vito which thankfully has a tow bar fitted.
A Jag XF and two young trees were amongst the victims until I got the hang of things.

I fitted a 7" JVC media centre which and reversing camera.
